The most powerful single chassis McIntosh amplifier, the MC1.2KW produces a massive 1,200 watts. The MC1.2KW features the extraordinary McIntosh Quad Balanced Circuit. Each amplifier consists of two balanced amplifier circuits, the outputs of which are combined in the unique, hand-crafted McIntosh Output Autoformer. The result? Totally balanced operation from input to speaker output that cancels virtually all distortion.
The MC1.2KW can be used with all loudspeaker types and features output connections that are optimized for 2, 4, and 8-Ohms for low distortion performance and maximum power transfer. With features such as DC failure protection and remote power control, the MC1.2KW is an ideal marriage of power and performance.
